Issue 1 – Waiting for love

Waiting. A word that holds so much weight yet feels so empty. We wait in lines, for emails, for the weekend. But nothing compares to waiting for the feeling of love. It’s an ache that lingers in the spaces between moments, a whisper in the silence.
Some say love comes when you least expect it. Other say you have to chase it. But what is you have waited; you have searched and yet the feel of love doesn’t spark? The world continues spinning, but your heart remains stagnant- frozen in place, suspended in hope.
We watch movies where love unfolds continues. We listen to songs that tell us love is a promise written in the sky, the stars. Yet, reality offers a far different story. For some, love is not a lightning bolt but a distant echo that never reaches them
Letter to No one
Dear love
I have set a place for you at my table, but your seat always remains empty. I have walked through crowded streets in search of your face, your touch, your presence. But you remain unknown, an illusion I cannot quiet catch
How long must I wait? How long must my heart echo in the empty room, calling out to someone who never answer?

A poem to one one
The poem of the Absence of you
I lit a candle in the dark,
Hoping love would find my spark.
But the flame flickered dimmed, then died,
Much like the hope I keep inside,
The stars all whisper lovers names,
Yet none have ever spoken mine.
I call, I wait through endless nights,
But love won’t come for me,
So here I sit with hollow hands,
A heart that longs, a soul that stand.
On the empty roads where lovers meet, with weary steps and aching feet.
Yet no one stops, no one stays,
And I am left to count my days.
